Short Bio

Estefanía Cervantes Puma is a civil engineer, university lecturer, and researcher in the field of structural engineering. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Minho (Portugal), where her research focuses on the seismic vulnerability assessment and deterioration of reinforced concrete bridges, considering the effects of climate change.
She is a faculty member at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ), Ecuador, and actively participates in international research networks such as IABSE. Her research interests include structural durability, condition assessment of existing infrastructure, multi-hazard analysis, and the development of methodological frameworks for resilient infrastructure management.
