Short Bio

In 2007, I successfully earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, followed by a master’s degree in structural engineering in Tehran, Iran, in 2011. Accumulating more than a decade of professional experience, I have developed profound expertise in ensuring structural stability and overseeing the maintenance of diverse infrastructures such as bridges, storage tanks, and various jetties. My professional journey includes active involvement in health monitoring initiatives for bridge structures. At present, I am the recipient of a prestigious FCT Portugal PhD grant, focusing on the application of reinforcement learning convolutional neural networks for bridge assessment. Furthermore, I have published an article in the area of infrastructure.

Thesis Title:

An advanced framework for bridge assessment based on reinforcement learning convolutional neural network

Research interest:
  • Reinforcement Learning (RL)
  • Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)
  • Bridge damage Identification
