The project aims at introducing a new philosophy in the context of transportation infrastructures maintenance. New data acquisition equipment will be developed and a mobile platform will be made available for the inspectors. All the gathered information will be converted into Bridge Information Models. Those will be the basis for applying new predictive and decision-making algorithms in order to support maintenance strategy. All work is supported on an existing database.
