Short Bio

Civil Engineer, Master’s degree in Ocean Engineering (FURG), and technical training in Maritime Culture (UFRJ). She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Structural Engineering at PUC-Rio (Brazil), under a cotutelle agreement with UMinho (Portugal). Her doctoral research develops data-driven and machine learning–based methodologies for the durability assessment and service life prediction of reinforced concrete structures exposed to marine environments under climate change scenarios. Her work aims to enhance risk-informed decision-making and contribute to the resilience of coastal and port infrastructure. Her research interests include environmental aggressiveness modeling, reinforced concrete durability, climate-adaptive infrastructure, probabilistic and reliability-based approaches, and applications of artificial intelligence in structural engineering.

Thesis Title:

Machine learning–based predictive modeling for the durability assessment of reinforced concrete structures exposed to marine environments under the context of climate change.
