Short Bio

I have a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, trained in Bridge Quality Control at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and I have over 15 years of national/international experience as a Structural/Infrastructure Engineer for highways, gas pipelines, hydropower and photovoltaic plants, buildings, water supply and wastewater treatment plants projects, blast-resistant buildings in petrochemical facilities in Albania, Europe, Bolivia, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Comoros etc. I am a co-designer of a penstock with max. head 1000 m and 5 km in length, and several major bridges with a structural height of more than 60m. He has good knowledge of design aspects of the structures, especially for works of structural art (bridges and other road structures) and buildings, blast-resistant buildings, pre-stressed and post-tensioned bridge girders and other elements, reinforced concrete, steel, masonry or composite structures, penstocks and tunnels. He has been part of the implementation and adoption of Structural Eurocodes in Albania. By following Albanian, European and American standards, he has developed several structural software and calculation sheets for indoor usage for analysis, calculations and design purposes in different applications. I have prepared a design guide material, “Detailed analysis and calculations of bridge structural elements according to European standards. Automated and parametric document.”
